I. Our Ethos

We are organic beings. We should build organically. That means…

Cinematic yet raw.
Intimate yet massive.
Nostalgic yet boundary‑breaking.

Unmistakably personal: a home for songs with timeless, innovative writing.

Magnum opus / Latin, “great work”

Artistry in its ultimate form. It’s the moment you decide the piece in front of you will be one of your very best, and you pour everything into it, connecting with yourself down to the finest detail.

We encourage artists submitting music to share that philosophy.

We know your frustration.

Increased synthetics.
Unfavourable contracts.
Data over creativity.

We aim to subvert that entirely.

1 Record per month, max.

Where some labels rush records out, we take our time, signing a maximum of one record per month.

This means

Human-madeWe ensure our records are AI-vetted and use AI-resistant contracts.
Fair dealsWe continuously work to improve artist fairness in our terms.
Backing the teamWe ensure everyone involved in the record is credited and accounted for.
Hands onWe work with independent, unestablished creatives with faith in their ability to stand out. We encourage authentic practices and discourage shortcuts. OMG THIS IS ME!contact us… info@magnumopuslabel.com
